LA FORÊT DES CHIMÈRES
Collectif Kimera participated in the BIG Biennale with their installation La Forêt des Chimères (eng. The Forest of Chimeras). The installation evoked a forest where the sounds of chimeras lay hidden, waiting to be discovered by visitors through tactile interaction. Each touch triggered sounds—such as singing, rustling, or whispering—while at night, moving lights and shadows were projected onto the forest, responding in harmony with the chimeric voices.
A series of sound and dance performances, titled Une Chimère dans la Forêt (eng. A Chimera in the Forest), was presented by resident artists Cyan Huescar, Martin Zambaz, Hsuan Lee, and Maude Renevier, together with guest artists Jasmin Sisti, Tamara Savelieff-Horan, and Thomas Robert.
