Family, group of friends, or fallen angels — these figures, drawn with thick black lines, seem at once fragile and determined. Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s words: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”— the fresco questions our relationship to failure. Rather than trying to overcome it, it invites us to inhabit it, to make it a shared space where we keep moving forward despite everything. Failing here becomes a collective act, a way of creating and persisting. Between humour and melancholy, Rater encore, Rater mieux celebrates the creative process in all its fragility: a march toward the worst, perhaps — but together, and in colour.
Le Mur Dukat
Le Mur Dukat, managed by the members of Collectif Kimera, offers a platform for contemporary artists to create a fresco on this space of expression visible from the street. The invited artists are chosen for their connection, either through their work or in situ artwork, to the values of Collectif Kimera, including inclusivity, diversity and the fight against all forms of discrimination.
